What is the difference between non-lead flashing and flashing kits?
Ubiflex and lead flashings are used to Seal construction joints e.g. where a chimneystack penetrates a roof or where a roof abuts a wall.
Flashing Kits are needed for our roof window range see item 3.
Do I need Planning Permission for Roof Windows?
Planning permission is not normally required for the addition of roof windows into your loft space as it falls under "permitted development". If you live in a Conservation Area it is advisable to contact your local Planning Office as permission may be requested and you may have to fit Conservation Style Windows (link)
Do I need Building Regulation Approval for Roof Windows?
Fitting roof windows into your loft space does not normally need Building Regulations Application, but if you are converting your loft space to a bedroom or bathroom then an application may be required. You can follow this link to Building Control for more information
