What format are the sizes in and what are they the sizes of?

The sizes shown on Roofinglines are all width x height. To make sure you order the right size product, please feel free to contact us if you have any doubts.

Why has the price of products saved in my shopping basket changed?

From time to time, we update our prices to reflect suppliers price list updates. This means, occassionally, a roofing product's price my increase or descrease between visits.

You can save roofing materials you want in your shopping basket and return to buy them at a later date. You won't be charged until you have confirmed at Step 3 of the payment process.

How long will it take my order to reach me?

Each product page has the fastest delivery time for the product. Some can reach you next day, others have to be specially ordered from the suppliers in Europe, such as some VELUX windows. You are able to select a range of delivery times when you buy your product, including Saturday or 3 standard working days.

Can I change my order?

Yes, you can. As soon as you realise that you need to change your order, please contact us on 01304 219922 and our sales team will help you.

If you realise you need to change your order once you've received it, follow the steps on our returns page and get your product exchange.

Please note, though, that if you amend your order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timescale and order value. You'll be charged the current selling price on the day you amend the order. If you have already received a delivery we can send replacements out but you will need to pay for the reordered items see our delivery offer.

What are your delivery charges?

Our delivery charges vary depending on the size and/or weight of the product, where it's to be delivered and which delivery option you select, for example, next day delivery is going to be more expensive than our standard delivery option.

To get a clear idea of our delivery charges, as well as a full breakdown of the costs of your order, add the products you want to your shopping basket and select a delivery option.

Do you have your own delivery vans?

Yes, we do for the London and South East. Our two delivery vans can be seen dropping off roofing supplies around the region every day of the week. So if you live in this area and need something urgently, please get in touch and we'll do our best to help you.

Unfortunately, we're not in the position to deliver ourselves to the rest of the UK and rely on third party couriers, such as TNT. We want our customers to get an excellent service at every step of their shopping experience with us and so working closely with the courier service to constantly improve deliveries where possible.

If do experience any problems with delivery, we are very sorry. Please let us know and we'll do our best to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Can you recommend a roofer or builder?

Unfortunately no. We only sell roofing supplies at great prices. You should take a look at checkatrade.com, competentroofer.co.uk or trustatrader.com.

Do I need planning permission?

That depends on what you're planning to do. You can often extend your home without planning permission as long as you meet certain limits and conditions. New roof windows or skylights don't usually need planning permission either.

We recommend you take a look at the Planning Portal before going ahead with any big changes to make sure you're up to speed with what you do and do not need planning permission for.
